1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of goods and services from Quality Log Cabins Ltd. By using our site or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published on this website.

2. Products and Orders

All our log cabins are made to order. Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for guidance and may vary slightly due to natural materials or production updates.

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled or returned, as all cabins are manufactured to your individual requirements.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice.

Full payment must be made prior to delivery or installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Delivery

Delivery times vary depending on location and production schedule. For an accurate estimated delivery time, please contact us directly at admin@qualitylogcabins.co.uk.

Delivery dates provided are estimates only and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, transport delays, or supplier issues).

Quality Log Cabins Ltd is not liable for any costs or losses arising from delivery delays.

5. Inspection and Damaged Goods

Customers must check all cabin parts before starting the build.

Any damaged or missing items must be reported before assembly begins.

Manufacturing faults will be rectified by Quality Log Cabins Ltd.

Damaged or replacement parts requested after delivery inspection may incur an additional cost.

6. Installation

Installation services are available upon request.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a suitable, level, and prepared base is in place prior to installation.

If our installation team arrives and the base is unsuitable, the customer will be charged 50% of the installation cost plus travel expenses to cover lost time.

To cancel or rearrange installation, customers must provide at least 72 hours’ notice.

If installation cannot take place due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, no charge will be made, and we will rearrange the appointment at the earliest possible date.

Quality Log Cabins Ltd accepts no liability for any associated costs or delays resulting from rescheduling.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

All cabins are made to order and cannot be returned or refunded once manufacturing has begun.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding goods that are faulty or misdescribed.

Any manufacturing defect will be resolved by us at no additional cost.

8. Warranty

Cabins installed by Quality Log Cabins Ltd include a 12-month installation warranty, provided that all aftercare and maintenance guidelines are followed.

The warranty covers workmanship and structural integrity only.

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Natural wear and tear
  • Weather damage (including wind, rain, or temperature effects)
  • Alterations or modifications made by the customer
  • Cabins not installed by Quality Log Cabins Ltd

9. Aftercare

To ensure longevity and maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Treat the timber within the timeframe recommended after installation.
  • Maintain the building regularly as per the provided care guide.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation and protection from excessive moisture.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may void the warranty.

10. Liability

Quality Log Cabins Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from product use, delays, or installation rescheduling.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, images, text, and materials on this website are the property of Quality Log Cabins Ltd. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our express written permission.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
